5. Vesta Williams
The R&B star, Vesta Williams, who had hits in the ’80s with such songs as “Congratulations” and “I’ll Be Good to You,” was found dead in a Los Angeles hotel room on September 22. Although Vesta Williams death was a mystery to most, an autopsy soon revealed that she died from complications stemming from an enlarged heart.
Vesta Williams’ life was reecently chronicled on the TV One series Unsung.
