King center president, Martin Luther King III had flight delays and he was unable to attend the President’s Reception to kick off this year’s celebrations at the King Center which will culminate on Monday January 16 on the King national holiday.
In his absence, the guests had the opportunity to mix and mingle with Christine King Farris, (the only living sibling of Dr King), King Center Chief operating Officer Robert Adams and many other prominent members of Atlanta’s social and business community.
