Swizz Beatz’s Hush-Hush Job Leads to Lawsuit

Swizz Beatz's Hush-Hush Job Leads to Lawsuit

Lupe Fiasco

After a high-profile feud with his label, Atlantic Records, from ’09 to ’10 that included several album delays, confessions of suicidal thoughts as well as an admission that he wasn’t a fan of his last album, L.A.S.E.R.S., Lupe Fiasco recently revealed that he’s, once again, at odds with his label. Lupe claims that his next album, Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor II, has yet to be completed due to a hold up from Atlantic.

“The Lupe [Fiasco’s Food & Liquor II] album is [coming out] hopefully. It’s not on me,” he said. “It’s not done yet. I’m waiting on my record company, ain’t nothing changed. Same business, it’s on them.”

Unfortunately, it looks like Lupe may be in for another heated label feud.
