“Soul Train” creator Don Cornelius found dead at age 75 in his Sherman Oaks, Calif., home this morning. According to multiple media reports, cops discovered the body at approximately 4 a.m. West Coast time in this upscale suburban Los Angeles bedroom community. Law enforcement officials have only stated that Cornelius died from a gunshot wound to the head and officials believe the wound was self-inflicted.
Cornelius was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
