Ol’ Dirty Bastard Biopic to Star ‘The Wire’s’ Michael K. Williams

A new biopic detailing the life of the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard will star an actor from a hit HBO series. Michael K. Williams will portray ODB  in the new film, Dirty White Boy, reports Rolling Stone.

Williams previously played Omar Little in the cable network drama as well as Chalky White in “Boardwalk Empire.”

Dirty White Boy will tell the story of ODB and Jarred Weisfield, a white VH1 production assistant who managed to become DB’s manager while he served a three-year prison sentence.

Joaquin Baca-Asay, the man responsible for Jay-Z’s “99 Problems” video, will direct the film.
