The sold-out event honored scholarship recipients and honored women and men who have provided service to their community. Honorees included: 2012 Archonette of the Year, Teresa L. Jackson; Amica of the Year, Tula Grayson; Entrepreneur of the Year, Beverly Carol Packnett; Civil Servant of the Year, Honorable Judge Carl Anthony Walker, CPA; Community Leader of the Year Rev. Dr. Raymond Legania; Zeta of the Year, Elizabeth Stevenson, and rolling out’s deputy editor, Zondra Hughes, was named Woman of the Year.
