After years of trying, Giuliana Rancic is expecting her first baby with her husband Bill.
The E! News host confirmed the news to the entertainment network this morning that she was expecting via a gestational surrogate.
“We are so thrilled that our prayers have been answered,” she said. Her husband Bill added, “We are absolutely ecstatic to be sharing this with everyone who has been following our journey.”
The baby is due in late summer and will genetically be the Rancics’ child.
Giuliana rancic made headlines in 2011 after announcing that she was in the early stages of breast cancer which a doctor discovered during fertility treatments.
The journalist then had a lumpectomy followed by radiation.
In December 2011 Rancic announced a decision to undergo a double mastectomy and has been in reported good health since.
