Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean and Marie Claudinette
In 1997, hip-hop supergroup The Fugees broke up under the auspices of creative differences, but years later, Wyclef revealed that the breakup was started by an affair with his bandmate, Lauryn Hill. At the time, Clef was already married to his wife, Marie Claudinette, and the affair almost broke up his marriage with her. Luckily, Clef and Lauryn called the affair off. According to Clef, Lauryn wrote the song “Ex-Factor” about him and their affair.
