Things aren’t so jovial anymore for funnyman Martin Lawrence. After two years of marriage, Lawrence and his wife, Shamicka, have decided to file for divorce.
According to RadarOnline, a rep for Lawrence announced the split on April 24, saying, “the couple has made the joint decision to part ways.”
Lawrence and Shamicka married in ceremony at his Beverly Hills home in 2010 after being in a 15-year relationship. The pair also have two daughters together, Amara and Iyana.
“Out of love and respect for one another we will continue to remain friends and raise our two beautiful daughters together,” they said in a joint statement.
