Former President Bill Clinton called President Obama an “amateur” and urged his wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, to run against him in the 2012 Democratic presidential primaries.
According to an explosive book by author Edward Klein, Bill Clinton told his wife to quit her job as secretary of state and run against Obama because he believed that Obama “didn’t know how to be president.” and is “incompetent,” the media is reporting.
Bill Clinton’s spokesperson called Klein, a former editor of the New York Times Magazine and Newsweek, “a known liar,” that Hillary’s spokesperson has come out against him, and that the White House has denied Klein’s account. According to Klein, these are the types of conversations the Clintons were having at a gathering with some close friends:
And that’s not all, not by a longshot, if the reports of the book by Klein is true. Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time the Clintons, particularly Bill, would have disrespected Obama. When Obama was beating his wife during the Democratic presidential primaries four years ago, scandal-ridden Bill Clinton is attributed to several off-hand remarks about Obama that made large waves.
