The Original Mother and the mother of Cain, Abel, and Seth
Chronologically, it makes sense to commence with Eve, the mother of all humanity. And she was the woman who made THE monumental, history-altering persuasion that changed things forever (we know what that is by now). So she is a much-maligned mother. She also had to deal with heartbreak for her sons are the first example of the Bible of sibling strife. Her sons were involved in the first homicide. She was the first mom to have to bury her child.
