Shawn and Marlon Wayans as White Girls:
The most prolific black moviemaking dynasty struck with another blockbuster hit. Directed by Keenan Ivory Wayans, White Girls was an audacious film because the brothers, Shawn and Marlon Wayans, did not really look like women nor did they look white. But leveraging the enormous success through such vehicles as the urban legend I’m Gonna Git You Sucka, as well as the mainstream smashes “In Living Color” variety TV show and the ultra successful Scary Movie franchise, the Brothers Wayans made White Girls work. And it was funny. It made $117 million worldwide off a $37 million budget. Cha-ching!
