5 Things You Don't Know About the Usher vs. Tameka Court Case

3. Usher’s Death Hoax Was an Alleged Publicity Stunt

During this week’s testimony, Usher was asked by Foster’s attorney to talk about a death hoax that occurred earlier this year. In April, a rumor spread across the Internet that the singer had been killed in a car crash. Following those reports, the singer took to Twitter to debunk them and showed off a new haircut and physique. Foster’s representation used that evidence to allege that the entire thing was a hoax and a poorly crafted publicity stunt.
