5. The John Edwards and Rielle Hunter affair is especially scandalous because allegedly Edwards was cheating as his wife Elizabeth as she was dying of cancer. Also, Edwards’ affair produced a child, and has launched an investigation into whether he used campaign funds to conceal the affair.

4. Politicians: Antonio Villaraigosa
Los Angeles mayor Antonio Villaraigosa was having marriage troubles and his business was in the street. NBC-Telemundo Channel 52 News anchor Mirthala Salinas was on top of the story.
“The rumors were true,” she read on air. “Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa confirmed today that he is separating from his wife, Corina, after more than 20 years of marriage.”
