Bobbi Kristina Walks Away From Tyler Perry Show
Just months after being announced as the newest addition to a Tyler Perry sitcom, Whitney Houston’s daughter has decided to walk away from the opportunity. Bobbi Kristina, 19, left the set of Tyler Perry’s “For Better or Worse” and will not return, reports RadarOnline. A source tells the site that the teen is still struggling to deal with her mother’s February death and was overwhelmed. “She thought she was ready for this, but she wasn’t,” said the insider. Writers for the program are now said to be scrambling to explain her character’s departure. Bobbi Kristina only filmed a “few” episodes of the show that will return to TBS in July.
As previously reported, Perry took Bobbi Kris under his wing in March and gave her the role of Angela Williams’ daughter. Williams is described as a popular hairstylist played by actress Tasha Smith.
Although she will no longer star in Perry’s show, Bobbi Kristina is said to be still on board for a Lifetime reality show starring her family. –danielle canada
