Jay-Z and Kanye West stormed Paris this weekend as their “Watch The Throne” tour rolled into the City of Light. And the artists didn’t come alone, they brought along a star-studded list of friends to their show, including Jay’s wife, Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, The-Dream and Justin Bieber.
The Throne hit the stage on June 1 for the first of two shows at the the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy. As expected, Jay and ‘Ye went into “Ni–as In Paris” overdrive, performing their hit song a record 11 times while the song’s producer, Hit Boy, crowd surfed with fans.
“HOV didn’t just really call me on stage in Paris to crowd surf,” tweeted the hitmaker. “The Roc family is too real. I’m the 2nd person only to ever grace WTT stage.”
And while the two hip-hop giants rocked the stage, Bey, Rowland, The-Dream and Bey’s gal pal, Gwyneth Paltrow, were all spotted in the front row of the VIP section, showing love to their hip-hop friends.
Backstage, Spike Lee joined Jay and crew for a glass of wine and snapped photos with the other celebs.
“Tonight’s Show Beat The Ones I Saw In NY,LA And London,” wrote the filmmaker. “Jay-Z/ Kanye Drove Paris Crowd Into Hysteria.”
