Meek Mill Opens Up About Chris Brown and Drake Club Brawl

Police and fans alike are still trying to make sense of what happened last week when Chris Brown and Drake’s entourages got into a bottle-throwing brawl that left several people injured, including Brown. Now, rapper Meek Mill, who was there with Drake at SoHo’s W.i.P. nightclub when the fight erupted, is speaking on the infamous brawl.

Since the incident occurred, reports have claimed that Meek instigated the fight between Drake and Brown, and that Meek even threw a bottle in the fight. However, in an interview with XXL, Meek denies having anything to do with the fight.

When asked if he threw a bottle, Meek responded, “F—k no.” Meek also claimed that Drake and Brown had nothing to do with the fight either.

“Chris and Drake, them two was there, but it’s other people that be around that take sh– to the next level,” he said. “Things just happen in the club. I seen girls in there throwing bottles, all types of s—t. All types of people. I never seen Chris Brown or Drake throw a bottle, and I was there.”

Shortly after the fight erupted, Meek took to Twitter to coyly explain that he wasn’t involved in the fight, but failed to clarify the situation to fans.

“It wasn’t me…. (shaggy voice) lol,” tweeted Meek Mill after the fight. After being bashed by Roscoe Dash for being “involved” in the fight, Meek shot back at Roscoe.

“@Roscoedash you gotta chill b4 you b tweeting my name in some s—t i wasn’t even really in! Stay in ya lane!” tweeted Meek.

And though Brown and Meek have reportedly been beefing over Brown’s ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, Brown also took to Twitter and explained that he and Meek Mill weren’t feuding.

“Me and @MeekMill ain’t on that bullsh–. Real respect Real….” tweeted Brown.

And Meek confirmed to XXL that things are just fine between him and Breezy.

“What [Brown] tweeted was just that me and Meek Mill ain’t got no problem,” he said. “I talked to him immediately after that, on the phone afterwards, like immediately. There’s nothing there, this-that-and-the-third. Chris Brown be in clubs. He be around situations like this. Things get out of hand. That don’t mean it’s out of hand with me and him or whoever, not even him and Drake.”

And that isn’t the only update in the Chris Brown/Drake fiasco. Check out what Chris Brown had to say to TMZ on the incident as well as other victims in the brawl below. –nicholas robinson
