Halle Berry Ordered to Pay Major Child Support Bucks to Gabriel Aubry

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry’s custody battle over their four-year-old daughter, Nahla, has been raging for months. And though Aubry has suffered many losses in the battle (he was recently deemed the less-capable parent of the two), the supermodel recently scored a major win, when a judge ordered Berry to pay him a small fortune in child support.

In April, Aubry filed legal documents asking a family judge to force his famous ex-girlfriend to pay him $15,000-$20,000 a month in child support for a proper home, so that Nahla would continue to live in the high standard she was accustomed to — and it looks like he finally got his wish.

According to TMZ, Berry and Aubry’s lawyers were in court on June 18 and sources close to Aubry claim that the family judge ordered Berry to pay Aubry $20,000 a month, totaling nearly a quarter of a million a year.

But this isn’t the end of their legal battle. The couple will soon be back in court again for judge to decide whether Berry, who recently became engaged to French actor Olivier Martinez, can move to Paris and take her daughter with her.

Berry previously claimed that she wants to move overseas because she fears for her life here in the states, now that two of her crazed stalkers, Richard Franco and Richard Hoskins, are walking around as free men.

Well, Berry certainly isn’t the only star to have to shell out some major bucks in a custody case. Check out some other costly child support cases below. – nicholas robinson
