The Taste of Chicago food festival kicks off Wednesday July 11–through Sunday, July 15 at 11 a.m. each day. Location: Grant Park, Columbus Dr. from Balbo Ave to Monroe St. visit www.tasteofchicago.us for details. Price: 12 tickets $8, advance $7. Since 1980, Jennifer Hudson and Chaka Khan headline the event; seat in the Petrillo Bandshell for $25, the lawn is free.
