Irving Plaza NYC Host Ice Cube and Coors' 'Search For The Coldest MC': Inside Look at the Venue

Ice Cube and Coors recently held the finale for “Search For The Coldest MC” at Irving Plaza in New York. Irving Plaza has a rich history that dates back to 1860.

The venue was once a lecture hall and later became a burlesque house and Yiddish theatre in 1888.

By 1978, the venue was renovated and became one of the leading concert venues in New York city. Along with Ice Cube, top notch acts such as U2, Eric Clapton, Pearl Jam, and Dave Matthews Band performed at the venue.
