Since the release of her 4 album, the typically private Beyoncé has been unveiling more and more of the deeply personal moments of her life to fans through interviews, photos and videos on her personal Tumblr page. And now, Beyoncé is planning to give her fans an all access pass as she helms a new documentary about her life and career.
According to the L.A. Times, Beyoncé and her representatives at her agency, IMC, have been shopping the film to Hollywood studios in the past few weeks and even shown about 20 minutes of the film to distributors.
A source close to the project claims that the documentary will consist of a blend of personal interviews and concert footage, with Beyoncé acting as both director and producer for the project.
This won’t be the first time Beyoncé has given fans a visual into her private life. Last year, the singer let MTV film her for a “mini-documentary,” titled “Beyoncé: The Year of 4.” And since then, Bey’s had a lot of new developments in her life, most importantly the birth of her and her husband, Jay-Z’s, daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
