Janet Jackson Vows to Continue Fighting Michael Jackson's Executors

Anna Nicole Smith

Anna Nicole Smith’s first will dispute came after the death of her elderly husband, billionaire J. Howard Marshall, who left her out of his will. In 2006, the Supreme court voted in favor of Anna, who asked for half her husband’s estate, which she claimed he promised her. The case eventually went to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals but has stalled ever since Anna’s death. Her daughter may now “inherit” her case in the future and continue her mom’s fight, if she chooses.
