In March, Brown University student Malcolm Burnley stumbled across the audiotape of Malcolm X’s 1961 address in Providence  in the university’s archives. In the address, Malcolm spoke to a mostly white audience about why blacks shouldn’t integrate into white society, but should instead focus on creating their own identities and culture.
