NeNe Leakes Designs the ‘Nethia’ Shoe
NeNe Leakes proved once again this past weekend that she’s indeed “very, very rich,” this time by releasing a new shoe under Kim Kardashian’s ShoeDazzle line.
The statuesque “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star was spotted at Atlanta’s Kalin Art Studios looking beautiful in a form-fitting bodycon dress and designer heels alongside her date for the evening, Ms. Cynthia Bailey.
Both “team tall” members stopped to pose for pictures before mixing and mingling with guests checking out Shoedazzle’s Nethia, a velvet high heel shoe adorned with lace straps that Leakes designed. The affordable shoe with a $44.95 price tag was displayed around the showroom Saturday and even brought out several of NeNe’s Bravo cast mates. Kandi Burruss, who NeNe was rumored to be feuding with, was all smiles for the occasion, as were celebrity hairstylists Derek J and Lawrence. Attorney Phaedra Parks also showed support in a fitted dress and sky-high heels.
The most shocking guest of all, however, was the newest “RHOA” cast member, Kenya Moore, who donned an incredibly revealing outfit that may have been a ploy to outshine Leakes’ launch entirely. Rolling out was on hand to capture the event that ultimately promoted a charitable cause. The proceeds for Leake’s ShoeDazzle footwear will go entirely to Saving Our Daughters, the anti-violence against women organization that’s recently gained celebrity support from singer K. Michelle.
