A year later her debut album ‘All Hail The Queen’ (1989) received critical acclaim and covered issues such as apartheid, poverty and women’s rights. Hits included ‘Ladies First’, ‘Dance for Me’ and ‘Wrath of My Madness’. In 1989, she also went on a European tour and appeared at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem.
