9. The Emergence of Mike Trout
Never before has the game of baseball seen a rookie as dominate as Mike Trout. This five-tool player can do it all, and makes it look easy along the way. Through 101 games, Trout has a .340 BA (currently third in the majors), 25 HR, 74 RBI and 41 SB making him a lock for AL Rookie of the Year and a candidate for AL MVP. If he keeps this up, Trout will have one of the greatest seasons by al rookie since the deadball era. Not bad for a kid.
