Accompanied by a band and orchestra, Janelle Monae was the surprise highlight of the festival’s first day. Along with performing her own hits, Monae put the crowd into a frenzy by paying tribute to Michael Jackson with a precise cover of the Jackson 5 hit “I Want You Back.”
