The silent fued between Beyonce and Kardashian has thickened because of the reality star’s alleged addiction to attention, the media reports. Beyonce has already been standoffish to Kardashian despite her attempts to get in good with Bey Bey and offer to be a godmother to Blue Ivy.
The star of “Keeping up With the Kardashians” was reportedly tryning to wiggle her way into the Ron Howard documentary being filmed on Beyonce’s husband, Jay-Z, at the Budweiser Made in America music festival in Philadelphia over the Labor Day weekend, reports RadarOnline. Beyonce’s disapproval of Kardashian’s behavior and subsequent lecture about it prompted Kardashian to cry over the phone to her mother, Kris Jenner, about being mistreated.
According to sources close to Beyonce, the “Single Ladies” singer had to pull Kardashina to the side to remind her that the documentary was not about her but about Bey’s 42-year-old husband. Jay-Z allegedly tried to make peace between the two by having his wife play nice with Kardashian because he is best friends with Kardashian’s beau, Kanye West.
“Kim was desperate for attention in the VIP area and was getting in the way of cameras that were supposed to be filming Jay-Z,” an eyewitness at the festival revealed. “She kept saying she was a huge fan of Ron Howard and would do anything to be cast in one of his films, so Kim was using this as an opportunity to impress the movie maverick.” Howard has become a legendary filmmaker since his successful acting days on iconic shows like “Happy Days” and the “Andy Griffith Show.” The Oscar-winning filmmaker has directed a number of memorable projects, including the Academy Award-winning movies Cocoon and A Beautiful Mind.
Beyonce was reportedly not amused with the signature tricks that Kardashian played to get the cameras trained on her, especially when the occasion is not about her. Remember, Kardashian made a big splash to get media talking about her after her former boyfriend, Reggie Bush, and the New Orleans Saints won the Super Bowl a few years back. It was reported then that Bush and others took offense to Kardashian’s blazen play for attention.
And reportedly, it has happened. Again. This time at the expense of Beyonce’s husband as Kardashian kept getting in the way of the cameras.
“Kim was fuming that the spotlight wasn’t on her – but Ron was there for Jay-Z, not her, and he really didn’t care if she was or wasn’t taking part in any of the filming.”
Hov brokered a peace treaty between the two sides, but it might have been a little too late.
“The damage was done. Later that night, Kim phoned her mom Kris to complain about the harsh treatment she thought she got at the festival,” the source told radaronline.com. “She just isn’t used to not getting what she wants,” the source said.
