For years, Fantasia has been caught up in a bitter love triangle with Antwaun Cook, the father of her second child, and his estranged wife, Paula Cook, who claims that her husband cheated on her with Fantasia. Though Cook and Fanatasia have both denied the that they engaged in an extramarital affair, Cook has now admitted that he did in fact cheat with Fantasia.
In 2010, Paula filed court documents that her husband began an “covert adulterous affair” with Fantasia in February 2009. Both Cook and Fantasia denied the claims.
But according to RadarOnline, photos show Fantasia and Cook getting cozy with each other in Barbados in January 2010, six months before the married couple filed for legal separation. And the documents state that “The parties consent and agree that Plaintiff [Paula] and Defendant [Antwaun] are husband and wife having been lawfully married to each other on October 1, 2005 and separated on June 16, 2010.”
Now, that Cook has agreed that the date of separation was June 2010, he’s admitted that he cheated on Paula with Fantasia.
Paula can now legally sue Fantasia for “Alienation of Affection,” which is a North Carolina law in which one can sue the third party who “alienates” the affections of one spouse from the other spouse.
Well, it looks like Fantasia may be in for another world of trouble if Paula does decide to sue her. But she’s not the only one involved in a cheating scandal. Check out some other famous affairs below. – nicholas robinson
