Let’s hope that the Shonda Rhimes-created and produced weekly drama “Scandal,” which blasted to the top of the Nielsen Ratings as well as critics’ pics, provides the level of lasting fame and Hollywood cache that someone of her skill set deserves. It would be long overdue.
