Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark” is where Courteney Cox, arguably the most successful video vixen ever, got pulled out of the audience at the video’s end. It was perfected staged by renowned horror director Brian DePalma (who was taking a turn at directing videos) to make it look like a total random yank from the crowd. Things worked out pretty well for Cox since that day, wouldn’t you think? She first went to “Family Ties” opposite Michael J. Fox (who was a superstar at the time) and then went on to star in one of the most popular sitcoms of all time, “Friends.”Video Vixens of Yesteryear: Where Are They Now?
