What is going on these days with professional athletes — particularly this former NFL running back?

Former NFL running back Larry Johnson was arrested in Las Vegas on suspicion of domestic violence, the media reports. This is his fourth arrest for beating up on women.

According to Clark County, Nev., jail records, Johnson has been accused of strangling someone, tmz.com reports. The alleged victim was not identified.

Johnson was once signed to $45 million contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. And he will need to unload some of it when he goes before a judge the following morning.Another Athlete Joins Chris Brown, Floyd Mayweather in Arrest on Domestic Violence

Johnson, 32, has been arrested four other times since 2003 for the same offense: domestic violence against a woman.

In 2008, he was sued for allegedly spitting on a woman in a nightclub. He paid $100,000 to close the chapter on that despicable case.

In 2011, the former bruising running back was sued for allegedly beating up a man in the famous South Beach section of the city of Miami Beach, Fla.
