It’s been four years since wrestling star David Otunga proposed to his superstar fiancée, Jennifer Hudson, and since then a lot has happened, including the birth of their son and, tragically, the murder of Hudson’s family. With all that’s happened, one could understand why a wedding hasn’t occurred, but reports are surfacing that Otunga is fed up with waiting for Hudson to marry him and may be ready to call it quits.
According to RhymesWithSnitch.com, sources say that Otunga has been intent on getting married, and though Hudson promised that she would begin planning their wedding after her family’s murderer, William Balfour, was convicted, she has yet to keep her promise.
The sources say that Otunga is beginning to believe that a wedding just isn’t as important to Hudson as it is to him and he’s now considering leaving if she doesn’t tie the knot.
Back in July, insiders claimed that Hudson got cold feet during the height of the Balfour trial and even called off the wedding and returned her engagement ring to Otunga.
However, Hudson later reconsidered and during her recent interview on “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” Hudson seemed confident, yet mum about her wedding plans as she assured that “there is a wedding date” sometime in the next couple of years.
Well, hopefully, Hudson and Otunga won’t go the way of these other celebs who decided to call off their superstar weddings. –nicholas robinson
