$250K Ferrari wrecked by 18-year-old in car crash

An 18-year-old nearly lost his life after crashing a $200,000 Ferrari in Alpharetta, Ga., a suburb pf Atlanta. The driver, who was identified as Akshay Panducherry, was driving at a high speed, lost control of the vehicle and it ran off the road eventually bursting into flames.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constituion, Panducherry, and his passenger, Harshavardhan Patiolla, 21, crawled out of the car and suffered severe  burns.


They are currently being treated at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.

The F-430 Ferrari was a gift to Panducheerry given by his father last week. The car can be tough to handle for an inexperienced driver. It reaches speeds over 200 mph.
