Carlton E. Brown, Ed.D. is the third president of Clark Atlanta University. Dr. Brown received both his Bachelor of Arts degree and his doctorate from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He earned his doctorate in multicultural education in 1979, and his bachelor’s degree in English and American studies in 1971.
