Scholar, teacher, author, administrator and race relations expert, Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum is the ninth president of Spelman College. She earned her B.A. at Wesleyan University, master’s degree at Hartford Seminary and master’s degree and Ph.D. at the University of Michigan. Spelman College is ranked the No. 1 HBCU by U.S. News and World Report.
