Dr. Sidney A. Ribeau is the 16th president of Howard University, which is, according to U.S. News and World Report the No. 2 HBCU and its School of Social Work in the top 20 percent. Ribeau holds a B.S. degree from Wayne State University and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in interpersonal and group communication from the University of Illinois, Urbana–Champaign.
