In 2010, Vancouver resident Bethany Storro accused an unidentified black woman with a ponytail of a horrific act. Storro said she was on her way to buy coffee at a Starbucks near Esther Short Park about 7:15 p.m., when a woman walked up to her and said “Hey pretty girl, do you want to drink this?” Storro, in fact, injured herself with acid (the strength of sulfuric or hydrochloric acid).
