In 2010, Cathy White was exposed as Jay-Z’s alleged mistress. The publicist was a girlfriend prior to Beyoncé coming into the picture. Just two days after Beyoncé announced that she was pregnant, White died of a brain aneurysm at Beth Israel hospital in New York on Sept. 1, 2011, at age 29.
