Beyoncé and Other Celebs Encourage Voter Turn Out
As election day marches on, a number of celebs are taking to the web to encourage their fans to cast their ballots. Included in that group is Beyoncé Knowles who posted one of her infamous open letters and a series of pictures on her Tumblr page. “President Obama, everyday we see your heart and character inspiring all of us to give more of ourselves,” wrote Beyoncé in the letter. “You are the leader to take us from where we are to where we need to be.”
Besides Bey, her sister Solange also chimed in with support for the commander in chief as well as Russell Simmons, Kim Kardashian, Gabrielle Union and Tracee Ellis Ross. The most bizarre pro-voting post however came at the hands of ‘Love and Hip Hop Atlanta’s’ Stevie J who posted a shirtless photo seemingly to entrance his female fans to hit the polls.
