Millions of Americans showed their true colors following the re-election of President Barack Obama.
In fact, Twitter announced that the re-election generated the most racist tweets in the history of the social network.
A company called Floating Sheep compiled the hate tweets from each state during the moments after the election. Using a location quotient and the formula (# of Racist Tweets in State/ # of Racist Tweets in USA)/ (# of All Tweets in State/# of All Tweets in USA), they came up with the LQ number.
