College hockey star athlete Clatyon Whittemore “just snapped” and beat his college girlfriend to death this past September. While visiting his high school sweetheart Alexandra Kogut at SUNY College at Brockport in New York, Whittemore and Kogut shoved each other during an argument in her dorm room; he grabbed a curling iron and beat her to death.
