Former NFL quarterback Steve McNair, 36, was fatally shot by his girlfriend (Sahel Kazemi, 20) twice in the head with a semiautomatic pistol during a murder-suicide in July 2009. McNair was married to Mechelle McNair and they have four children. He was a four-time Pro Bowler in his heyday.
