Kim Kardashian’s cat, Mercy
The internet went wild with news that Kanye West had gifted Kim Kardashian with a cute kitten named Mercy. The 4-month-old tea cup Persian quickly became the subject of online discussion when she was spotted with her owner in numerous Instagram photos. Unfortunately little Mercy was euthanized this month after contracting a cancer-like virus often associated with breeding. “It is with deep sadness that I have to tell you all that my kitten, Mercy, has passed away,” Kim wrote on her blog Dec. 7. “My heart is completely broken.”
