The Birth of Blue Ivy
The year started off with the birth of possibly the world’s most famous baby, Blue Ivy Carter. Jay-Z and Beyonce welcomed their first child into the world in early January, and it seemed as though there was nothing else to talk about for the first few weeks of the year. Blue Ivy made an appearance on her dad’s track “Glory,” and when pics of the tot finally surfaced, she became an instant Web sensation.
