The 2Pac Hologram
Easily the strangest and creepiest event in hip hop this year, the “resurrection” of hip hop icon Tupac Shakur and this year’s Coachella festival led to constant conversation, criticism and parody. The digitally-rendered superstar shared the stage with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg; and the success of the performance led to rumors that there would be more holograms of dead celebrities to come.
