Most stressful jobs in America
Using criteria that includes travel, job outlook, deadlines, working in the public eye, competitiveness, physical demands, environmental conditions, hazards encountered, own life at risk, life of another at risk, and meeting the public, CareerCast.com has compiled a list of the most stressful jobs in the country.
CareerCast works with math and statistics researchers at the University of Wisconsin to compile the list, using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, trade reports and other sources. The least stressful jobs list includes a tailor, a seamstress and a jeweler. By contrast, the most stressful jobs include careers in public service, media and transportation.
