Lottery winners killed; Chicago man latest victim

Prosecutors allege Doris Dee Dee Moore killed Florida lottery winner Abraham Shakespeare.

Killed: Abraham Shakespeare

Abraham Shakespeare won $31 million lottery from the Florida lottery in 2006 and settled for the $17 million lump payment.  By 2009 much of Shakespeare’s money was spent.

Allegedly, Doris “Dee Dee” Moore, 40, convinced Shakespeare that she could help him get his financial house in order, and soon took control of the remainder of his money.

Prosecutors believe that in April, 2009, Doris Moore shot and killed Shakespeare. The trial is now underway.
