‘Starter Wives’ trailer
TLC’s answer to the various reality “wives” programs is coming to television. “Starter Wives,” which features the ex-wives of celebs including mobster Phillip Caruso, Floyd Mayweather, Funkmaster Flex, DMX and Lamar Odom, will premiere Jan. 29, at 10 p.m. EST.
Also included in the lengthy cast list will be Shaniqua Thompkins, the baby’s mother of rapper 50 Cent, and Zakia Baum, the baby’s mother of rapper Maino. “Starter Wives” is believed to be competing directly with VH1’s “Hollywood Exes.”
Obviously excited about the program’s upcoming debut are several members of the cast, including Cheryl Caruso, who tweeted:
