Deceased NBA player's wife spends $1 million in 10 months

Former NBA player Lorenzen Wright signed a life insurance policy in 2010 after filing for divorce from his wife Sherra Wright. The policy would ensure that his four kids would have financial stability in case of his demise. Five months after the policy was implemented, Lorenzen Wright was found dead.

In turn, Sherra received $1,033, 793 in September 2011. According to reports by commercialappeal.com, most of the money was gone do to frivolous spending within 10 months.
